Day by day

Day 1: Arrival and Stone Town tour

After meeting you at the airport Accessible Travel Kenya takes you to your Stone Town hotel, then set out on a guided tour of the old town’s alleys and coral-stone houses, many more than two centuries old with Arab and Indian carved doors. Stops include the Sultan’s Palace Museum, the House of Wonders, the former English Club at Africa House and the Old Fort, finishing in the waterfront gardens at sunset.

Day 2: Full-day Safari Blue

From the fishing village of Fumba you sail out into Menai Bay to look for dolphins, swim at a sandbank and snorkel over coral reefs with guides and equipment provided. A grilled seafood lunch with lobster, a tropical fruit tasting, a ngalawa outrigger sail, a mangrove lagoon swim and a giant baobab round off the day before you return to Stone Town at around half past four.

Day 3: Free morning and departure

Spend the morning picking up handicrafts and gifts along Gizenga Street. You are then driven to the airport in the afternoon for your flight home.
