Counting the giants: 7-Day Accessible Safari

7 days · Fly-in, road at each destination · Nairobi, Amboseli, Tsavo

Conservation journey · elephants and great mammals

Elephants, buffalo and the other great mammals of the south, from orphan to herd. Meet the keepers raising orphaned elephants, spend time with long-term elephant researchers in Amboseli, and join a mobile vet unit on a rescue or a wildlife census team when one is running.

The signature moment: Watching a vet free an elephant from a snare, and the herd waiting for it at the treeline.
