Day by day
Day 1: Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park
Transfer from your hotel to the ferry for the crossing to Dar es Salaam, then continue by road to your lodge. In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat trip on the Rufiji River among hippos, crocodiles and abundant waterbirds.
Day 2: Full day game drive
Rise before dawn for a guided game drive through Nyerere, searching for lions and other big cats, African wild dogs, elephants and hippos as the morning light spreads across the bush.
Day 3: Bush walk and transfer to Dar es Salaam
Set out early for a two-hour guided bush walk, return for breakfast, then drive back to Dar es Salaam, where your safari ends.
